According to the Winter 2021 State of Enterprise Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Report, released by Teneo's cloud networking partner, Prosimo, struggles with operational complexity, security and performance are causing enterprises’ multi-cloud journeys to stall—preventing them from delivering fast, reliable and secure application experiences to highly-distributed users.

The Winter report paints a full picture of how enterprises are transitioning to cloud and multi-cloud infrastructures.

Key findings include:

  • 62% of IT decision-makers report that finding a consistent network approach across cloud service providers is their top cloud networking challenge
  • 62% of enterprises plan to embrace multi-cloud within two years; this grows to 91% after two years
  • 63% of IT decision-makers define multi-cloud success through “ensuring consistency, security measures across users, apps, and devices”
  • 53% of enterprises tackling multi-cloud with traditional networking approaches face issues with operational complexity, security, and performance
